Driving Safety Tip #4 from the Ann Arbor Police Department

Driving Safety Tip - Slow Down!

When road conditions are snowy and icy,
keep extra distance between you and the car in front of you.

Maintain your slower speed - keep it smooth and gradual.

If you skid, steer in the direction that the skid takes you.

Thank You to Officer Doug Martelle, AAPD,

Winter Driving Tip #1

Build an Emergency Kit

It should include a snow brush and ice scraper, hazard lights, bottled water and food, a rechargeable flashlight, a small shovel, sand or cat litter, jumper cables, blanket and gloves, a cell phone charger, and a first aid kit.

If you need an ice scraper, SkyWell is passing them out at the Expo.
